also went to the panel for the new "sanctuary" show 
starts in oct
it is staring amanda tapping and it looks great
highly recommend

the fan panels for steampunk and stargate 
were fun and totally fan oriented 
lots of gadgets and ideas

in passing saw celebs
stan lee being one of them
we were in the bar and the crowd just started clapping as he walked by

 wed night was preview night
that meant we could hit the exhibition hall early
and we did 
running

thurs thru sunday were panels, 
signings, and world premiers

you could even give blood and get even more swag
and karkar and i did!
funny, the blood bank sponsoring the event is one of my customers

 it has been a week since i returned from comic con 2008
it was eom and i had a cold so i never posted anything

comic con 2008 was held, as usual, in the wonderful, sun filled city of san diego
unfortunately for me, it was a cold 73 degrees this year
compared to the balmy 76 or so in '07

i decided to rewatch buffy from the start
