Craft Wrap-Up

Two weeks! I was away on business--the one that pays for these hobbies--and so there was no update last week. Sadly, there was not but so much progress either. But some progress nonetheless!

Quilting

• Mystery Quilt: (ignored) pieced the center of the top. Starting to think about the fiddly piecing that has to happen, though, and might wrap this one

GO you!! By the way...i have discovered a new (new to me?) fiber place in Olde Towne Alexandria. It is called Fibre Space. AMAZING pretties to be found there. I keep thinking of you when they post on FB and i get the newsletters..... field trip sometime?? *grin* Love you and miss you lady! Hope things are good!!

Fibre Space is a nifty place--another friend and I traveled there for a book signing by WendyKnits. The shop is in that "urban" zone where I need a parking garage and will happily walk any distance, as long as I don't have to parallel park.

I'm such a suburbanite.

But I'd LOVE a field trip sometime!

ETA: Don't forget to bring a bag! I'll bring mine--I bought enough there to earn one of theirs. *blush*

WOOT! I dont mind driving or parking there....and i know a couple of places in that area to park. i can bring a bag...not a problem. They have a store next door that I want to go to as well....Olio - A Tasting Room. They specialize in Olive Oils and the such. Honestly there are so many cool shops you would like in town....we need to get our schedules in sync.
