haiyah, kids these days won't know one lah

snowskin, as its name implies, is meant to be white. that is the plain, sweet flour based coating for mooncakes. cos its plain, as u can imagine, it did not sell that well.

pandan was the first flavoured snowskin variety to be released. so for a period of time, when you spoke of snowskin mooncakes, you actually meant pandan snowskin mooncakes. that was until a few years ago when all these fancy stuff came out

pandan snow skin... now i am suddenly jolted from the days when i was playing at Toh Kee along Eu Tong Sen Street... real pandan used in the green skin i think. GOSH
