I can so clearly see the situation :P Yeah, absurdity is clearly present. Wonder what kind of voice she had when she said "Yes" to you nice Russian remark... Well, the difference with Russia is that Russian shop girls can shout at you but will also disobey most of the rules without blinking, while Estonian (and Norwegian, as far as I understand) ones are extremely polite but you don't get any human-to-human help from them. There are exeptions of course but...

That was the scariest part: her whole expression and behaviour didn't change much when I did that Soviet Military parody part.

I would stand in the shop and sing very loudly and annoy the hell out of all the customers until she would decide to fix the camera.
