I don't want to look on my Facebook page today. It hurts too much today. This has been coming along for a little while now, I am homesick. Facebook becomes painful - seeing the people I miss, the events I miss, the groups that I miss. We missed the 10th anniversary of Northshield. We will miss Eithni and whymc's wedding. I'm really sorry you have to go through this abrupt move halfway across the country, and also the need to rebuild your career. I am finding out first hand how challenging that is at our age.
I talked to Cara yesterday, and she said the two of you might get together sometime. I'm glad you were able to connect with her.
