Camera recommendations.
I have started looking for a new digital camera, an SLR. I started by looking at the Nikon D50, but then realized that I actually liked the features of the D70 instead. On further review I have decided to at least look at the Canon 20D or 30D.
I am looking for help here people! Any recommendations, or opinions are welcome. -
It is spring!
Last weekend Kim my Mom and I decided to go to the driving range and I asked Jordan to come along. I think I've created a monster. He really enjoyed it, and did pretty well. I think I am going at lunch today to buy him a set of junior clubs, Nevada Bob's had a set for $129. -

Another evening at the hospital...
This time not with one of my own kids. One of the dudes on the hockey team I coach got hit from behind and went awkwardly into the boards. We were worried about a broken bone so he was sent to the hospital. 2 hours later we find out that it is a "deep soft tissue bruise". He'll be sore for a while. -
Hockey is just about over
I was hoping it would last another 2 weeks, but I don't think we stand much of a chance of moving on. We lost 2 and tied on game, we play again this afternoon but I don't think a win will move us on ( Read more... ) -

Well, here I sit at work. On Saturday. Apparently there was some kind of power incident in Alberta last evening and it may have knocked our routers out. Major suckage. Well, nothing I can do from here, might as well go home... -

The Sears Outlet store rocks my socks. Our washing machine died on us, so we went to the Sears Outlet store and did some shopping on Wednesday. We found 3 washing machines that we liked, then the salesman told us that there was a surprise sale the next day. I have always thought
that one of the worst injuries would be a dislocated elbow. It just seems gross, the bottom of your arm hanging there. Well I got to see it today, and on my daughter. Meagan had a fall off the beam at a competition and dislocated her left elbow. It was really gross, you could actually see the end of the bone through her skin. She was amazing, ( Read more... ) -
Baby, it's cold outside!
Wow, our super warm winter came to a screeching halt! It has been -40 with the windchill all day, it is supposed to be -50C with the wind tomorrow. The good news is that by Sunday it is supposed to be back to -10C.
