RP LOG: The Last Day Before Lent

Summary: MARDI GRAS!!!
Just as the sun came down, the lights came on. They hadn't been there during the day, but they were now. Party lights, everywhere... twinkling from the trees around the village, draped over the buildings, added in with sparkling green, purple, blue, and gold beaded garlands and gold coins greeted the residents as party music could be heard playing through the air. King cakes had been put out in the cafe along with all sorts of decadent foods for the event. It was clear the island knew this was a time for fun and enjoyment.
