The other night after work I was driving out of the parking lot and looking at some of the employees who have to tarc it home. I started thinking about what it would be like to be them. The only thing they have in there lives is outback. They wake up go to work then go home. No school no future plans of moving on to somewhere else just outback ( Read more... )

i think about this a lot. sometimes it bothers me so much. i just wish sometimes you could know what your life is going to be like in the future. like how many kids im going to have, what job to do i have, did i become wealthy, am i going to be a grandfather. i just really wish i could. i was thinking about hard the other night and it was getting me really upset.

and no humans do not have free will. nothing is free. i hate that we have to work our asses off to be happy.

I know my view points may not be what everyone agrees with but I'm going to say them anyways. What I don't understand is how people like those at Outback can't survive without some form of spirtituality. I can get by doing hard work all my life because I have something to look forward to when I die. Also, how do you know if they have an amazing group of friends, a community of people that they relate to? People they can rely on and who support them? Just because they ride TARC and the only work they'll ever do is Outback or something in that vein, it doesn't mean there isn't more in thier lives that keeps them going. Even children can change a person so they will want to work hard at a minimum wage job thier entire life ( ... )

i guess i should have elaborated more. But the reason I thought about all taht was not the fact they were tarcing. I did not include everythning I knew about them either. The people I was talking about were older gentleman and I have regular conversations with them about varies aspects of their lives. It seems for some of them outback is all they really have. Not everyone at outback just does outback. Some are like me and going to school others have familes it was just the one I saw in particular that it seems (keyword seems) as that is all they do. Go to work and then go home.
