You know, you should really make this diary into a book. I'm starting an independent DIY small press and already have a couple of projects in mind for it. Would you be interested in making this part of it?
You wouldn't really have to do much. Here's what I would do: take your porn diary, edit it (fix grammar, maybe shorten some sections a bit, etc.), get you to approve my changes, and then slap it together in a limited-edition book (about 50 copies, maybe). I could probably get Rick Trembles or some other artist(s) to illustrate it. You can publish it under a pseudonym.
I wouldn't mind you making some changes. I actually have juicier things that I never wrote on LJ. The reason is simple: it's just too embarrassing or private for internet. (some things could get me in a lot of trouble) But strangely enough, I'd feel more comfortable writing/talking about those things in a book.
Anyway, the only thing I'd ask is to have a guy who can write (you or somebody else) rewrite what I wrote. I know my entries aren't well written (mostly because it would take me forever to write something in an intelligent way) and I know most entries could be rewritten in a great way. I can't edit or correct myself, because I feel insecure about my writing.
So, yeah, i'm game! And the Rick Temple idea is fantastic/clever!
I was going to suggest re-writing them myself slightly, but I thought you'd be against the idea. But if you're up for it, that's great. It means more work for me though, heh.
There's no way this can be done in time for Expozine this year (end of November), but I'd like to start working on it soon-ish, as soon as I have time for it. I'll collect your entries from LJ, and you can forward me any additional stuff you don't want to post here, if you want.
the book might have to have a second part, because lately, things have been happening that are pretty interesting.
I'll keep on writing LJ entries in the meantime. And I'll write some privately.
I'd like to also email you with my thoughts on every entry. What and where i'd like to add some things. (Keep in mind, I don't really care if you use everything, I just wanna have the book be as interesting as possible)
