I may be the only one who can't believe that John, who was basically the only active cop in Gotham, managed to avoid capture for the whole of Gothams occupation. So I think that he did get captured. When brought before Bane, the villain can't quite bring himself to hand such a fascinating and beautiful man over to the peoples court for execution. So instead he suggests that John can pay a little 'fine' to him and be released. This leads to a city wide game of Cat and Mouse, as John tries to organize the resistance before the bomb goes off and Bane tries to capture him as often as possible to pay more "fines".

"Officer Blake." Bane's voice hissed through his mask, "Your reputation proceeds you."
John crossed his arms. The action was more because he was trying to keep himself warm than trying to defend himself. "What do you want?" John quickly gave Bane a glance.
Said tyrant stopped his prowling, his back was turned from the officer, his line of view was directed in the darkness, "You have valuable information that I require. I will ask this nicely, tell me where the Commissioner and his officers are."
"Your guess is as good as mine." John merely shrugged.

John's entire body froze. Fear flooded his senses and the world started to close in. He knew that Bane wasn't joking. His eyes and body language screamed the brutal truth. Now the officer was shivering for a different
kind of reason. He had thought he was careful with keeping the orphans' current location a secret. Every precaution he took was to ensure that the kids were safe until John could evacuate them from the city. Now, to hear that all his hard work has been reduced to nothing, he felt as if he was going to scream.
Bane, who had been watching John have a silent meltdown, broke the silence that followed his previous statement, "I will make you a deal." The tyrant's voice caressed John's hearing in a sickeningly manner, "A moment of your time, in exchange for your precious orphans' lives."
John's eyes widened in shock, "What...what about the officers?"
"I will leave them be as of right now. They are of no major concern. But you, however, have impressed me. So, Officer John Blake, will you accept my ( ... )

"Bane." John hissed, thrashing round blindly to find the tyrant. He couldn't see where the man was, he believed that he was hiding in front of him due to the sounds were directed infront of him. A chuckle echoed through the air as the lights went out. John growled as he was, once again, in complete darkness. His eyes stung and white spots danced behind his eyes. The officer couldn't get his barrings until it was to late.
The tyrant was behind him. Much like last time he encountered Bane, he was back to chest to the larger man. This time, Bane decided that he was going to tie a clothe around John's eyes instead of binding his wrists. At least he would be able to fight Bane, even if it was a blind struggle.
Good evening, officer. Bane hissed through his mask as he was dragging John with him to collect the camera that was placed in front of them. "It seems you have been snooping around."Oh nooooo. I was taking a stroll around Gotham ( ... )

He wasn't going to think about that. No. He couldn't.
"He's somewhere where no one can find him." Bane hissed softly, "You shouldn't concern yourself with such things, young one."
"Fuck off!" John hissed, earning himself an amused laugh from Bane.
Then, out of no where, a loud BANG rang through the air. It was right above his head on the floor. John tugged at his bindings, but didn't move far. Bane anchored his cuffs to the floor so that John couldn't escape.
What in the hell was he planning?
Bane slowly brought the camera towards him. "Greetings, Mr. Wayne. I do hope you're enjoying your stay. I'm sorry we can't accommodate you to something more...of your tastes." John froze as he listened to Bane talking to the ( ... )
