The next cry catches in the back of his throat. Sounds pitiful and hollow. A little like him.
He closes his eyes and swallows; opens them again. There's a crack in the ceiling that stretches from the fart north-east corner to maybe a foot away from the windowsill. He's been staring at it for the last fifteen minutes in an attempt to ignore the madness going on between his legs.

And it's not difficult, per say, to remove himself from the situation at hand; his body. To become a witness instead of the victim, at least momentarily, until Bane gets him with a well-aimed thrust. And it hurts. Hurts in a way he never would've dreamed possible. It's a pain so deep-a pain so acute that he isn't too sure how he's going to make himself come back to this, again and again and again, until either the bomb is found or it takes everyone in this ( ... )

Also, after I posted the darn thing, I went back to reread your prompt and realized it was supposed to be in a Post-Apocalyptic setting, so, ah, I hope this is still okay...? I'm actually tempted to write a continuation, because, honest to goodness, this is the only time I've ever filled a prompt in a single comment and the angst hurts so bad I'm having a hard time just letting go...
In any case, tell me what you think. If did a continuation, is there anything you'd like to request?

By request do you mean plot wise or kink wise? As far as plot nothing more than Bane continuing to be a terrifying bastard and for kink, idk, I love how big Hardy's hands are so some thing w that. Like Bane threatening to/actually fisting Blake? If that isn't to squicky for you?
Or just ignore this and do whatever you want because I'm sure it will be great regardless.

Beautifully written, too. I love the litany he uses to get himself through it, and Blake's courage, and how he'll do anything to keep the kids safe. He's the most awesome character, and damn, Bane is scary as shit.
