My best friend moved to Barbados yesterday - and I already miss her!  She's been there through all the momentus occasions in my life.  Remarkably, I kept my promise and didn't cry until after she walked through the security gates, but then I bawled!  I wish her so much happiness and am already saving for a trip

I am so so sorry about your BF (Barb?) moving away. Get the webcam out and invest in a good long distance home phone plan! How come she is moving? Is it permanent?
I totally get the mommy/daugther bond that you have going on with Alex. I have the same thing with Hailey. It actually hurt when she went to kindergarden this year! I'm sure she will adapt beautifully when the baby is born, and will be thrilled to be "mommy's helper"! How old is she now? 3?
SQUEEEE wrt to setting up the baby room!!! It always feels so much more real when that task is done!
How are the stretch marks? Did the vit. E oil help?

The intent is for Barb to make a permanent move, but if she finds that she absolutely hates it then she'll come back.

The stretch marks are much better. I'm packing on the moisture and the oil is definitely making a difference.

Alex turned 3 on September 28th.
