If you don't mind my asking, why does the OB think it is a good idea to induce the baby so early?
I always looked forward to having the time off that a new baby guarantees you. I wouldn't waste an ouce of guilt over that! Lol!

She wants to induce me because it will take me about 40 minutes to get to the hospital and she expects that if my labour is anything like with Alex (2 hours) that there won't be enough time for me to get to the hospital. Alex was born naturally at 38 weeks. Also, with such a quick labour she explained a few complications that may arise and would rather that I'm in the hospital as opposed to driving on Deerfoot.

Gotcha. I wonder how much of your early delivery was stress-related. However, stress would certainly not account for such a fast delivery, and I get the fear of delivering in the car!

I was wondering that too. I did talk to her about the difference in my life and that there's less stress, but she didn't waiver. I have another appointment today and she'll make a decision.
