visitors

My father-in-law called last night with some *great* news - they're coming to visit and will be here on Saturday.  I know they're excited for the birth of their (probably last) grandchild, but I REALLY don't want them in my house right now.  But what do you do.  Their plan is to come out and be here Saturday night or Sunday morning, stay for a few ( Read more... )

WHAT??!!! You have to give up your room after you have just had a baby because your FIL can't sleep in the basement due to claustrophobia?! I just want to make sure that I have that right...because if I do, then that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Oh TAN!!!! Huge hugs from me to you! What a stressful thing to have to endure after you have just given birth, not to mention having your 3 year old two floors away from you!
These people need to get a bloody hotel. Period.

A hotel - ha! They'll come, I'll cook for everyone or we'll use up the freezer meals that I've made and then they'll go. Oh, yeah, and they'll be bringing their toy poodle - and letting it sleep on the back of my couch!
