I liked how you managed to build an aftermath, and I actually kind of liked the new flatmate. Even Sherlock is honest about it and recognize his main fault is not being John.
All in all, it was a very intriging and well managed death-fic. The main bad point I noticed was some recurring tense mistakes, the narrative randomly alternating between present and past.
