I was done with my workout today, and I had showered and shaved, and went to dispatch to get my keys and my phone and let my boss have a break. she forgot to busy the 911 phone, so I am sitting there doing nothing, the 911 phone rings, and I do my normal "vermont 911 where is your emergency?" lady says " my baby just swallowed 16 tylenol ( Read more... )

well it's 5:41 and my 8 hours is almost up. I love it here. the pace is absolutely incredible. wow. what a night.... the phone didn't ring once. when I say the phone didn't ring once, no calls, nothing the cops spent the night in the station ( well 3/4 of it ) doing nothing but hanging out in dispatch, and I ended up dozing off, because you know what. i couldn't keep myself awake.
