That picture with the two Stephens makes me think it's Stephen watching "Stephen", fondly amused and all, "And I thought I was hyperactive..."

That's about the impression I got, yeah. Although Stephen looks more tired than amused, like "I wish he would finish posturing, I need him to read over this script..."

He seems faintly amused to me. Definitely still tired, though.

That picture with him bottle-feeding the Lady Liberty statue is odd, though. Not least because in another photoshoot, he slept with her...
