San Fran outlaws plastic bags.

Oddly enough, I find myself supporting the usually extreme-left wing city of San Francisco. I have been backing this idea for a long time.

I agree, but all politics is local. He's just a reflection of their values. While I don't usually agree with their values or methods, I do on this point. Plastic bags are awful.

I re-use paper bags all the time. It easy as long as you do not use paper to store liquids, which makes no sense so I win. The problem is that whether or not pastics get re-used, most of them end up at sea or sitting somewhere for a million years. The only downside to paper is that it costs the consumer, but it is totally worth the cost (hardly anything).
