Nappy Headed Hos?

There are so many holes in the logic of this media-created controversy that I'm not sure where to begin. The ever-clarifying fact that black spokesmen hold white people to a standard to which they refuse to hold blacks? The fact that this story would be nonexistent if the radio show host was a female and the players were male? The list goes on.

I couldn't agree more, Tom. Of course Al Sharpton has to speak out: what he does now is the only thing he has done with his life that remotely resembles a job. If Kanye West had rapped the same phrase, he would win a NAACP Image Award for his groundbreaking work and courage.

Personally, I don't mind if Al Sharpton and others speak out. They are just as much free to bitch about it as Don Imus is free to say it. But demanding an apology and that Imus be fired is ridiculous. One of the few things I respect about Ann Coulter is her refusal to cave to media pressure like this. "C’mon, it was a joke. I would never insult gays by suggesting that they are like John Edwards. That would be mean."
