The sabbie: Albus, standing out from the crowd, ina rather starry blue and silver robe, was sitting as a small table for two in a private section of the resturant. He was waiting, patiently, and in full hope Lucius would come.
Morsmodere: Lucius was shown in, looking as sweeping as usual in sable. However, his blonde hair had been patiently woven into a braid and did not spill over his shoulders in the usual mess. "Albus," he greeted calmly.
The sabbie: Albus did not at all look suprirsed, but, rather, he looked pleased. His eyes twinkled and he stood up, bowing gently, but not enought o not keep his eyes on the blond haired wizard. Smiling softly, he welcomed his guest, "Thank you for coming, Lucius. Sit down, sit down," Albus murmured quietly, watching the younger closely.
Morsmodere: Lucius seated himself gracefully, looking anywhere but the older wizard's piercing eyes.
The sabbie: Albus, too, took a seat and swiftly handed the other a menu, before picking up his own, "Order whatever you like, Lucius." He paused to move his menu down some, lifting a brow, "But first, how are you doing, my dear boy?"
Morsmodere: "As fine as I can be," Lucius murmured. Usually Lucius swept about with an air of importance, but he seemed to tone it down in the older man's presence. "And I trust you are the same."
The sabbie: Albus nodded, looking back over his menu before putting it down, "Yes, Lucius, all is well for now.." He paused to let out a sigh, "Worried about Draco and Harry, though, how are they?"
Morsmodere: "They have not confided in me over much," Lucius admitted, "But I have reason to believe that they are doing as well as circumstances allow."
The sabbie: Albus nodded, understanding, "I believe both boys will be fine as long as they're together," Albus smiled, and took a sip of his wine, "However, that does not change me from worrying over them. So, I assume you have spoken to neither of them as of yet?"
Morsmodere: "No," Lucius said smoothly, setting down the menu.
The sabbie: Albus would not let the small 'oh' slip past his lips. "Let's not talk of serious discussion - this was supposed to be a date," Albus's eyes twinkled and he grinned widely, "Have you decided what to order?"
Morsmodere: "I'd rather just having tea, if you don't mind," Lucius said, drumming his fingers lightly on the menu, "I've not had much of an appetite lately."
The sabbie: Albus frowned and nodded, calling a waiter over to order the tea for his guest. After the waiter left, Albus returned his attention to Lucius, "That's not good, Lucius, any reason why you would not have the need for food as of late?"
Morsmodere: The younger wizard merely shrugged, tugging off his gloves, "I haven't the faintest idea."
The sabbie: Albus watched as the gloves were reminded, eyeing the flesh for a moment. "Lucius," Albus stated clearly before continuing, "What is wrong with you lately? I know there must be lots on your mind, and I worry over what's troubling you."
Morsmodere: "Nothing's wrong," Lucius stated, turning a flat gaze upon Albus, the first full eye contact they'd had since the younger wizard had appeared, "I'm perfectly fine."
The sabbie: Albus frowned, shaking his head, "I know that is not the case, Lucius, however, I will not question your intentions. The waiter soon arrived, delivering Lucius's tea, in which case, Albus offered sugar.
Morsmodere: Lucius merely shook his head at the offer. After the waiter had gone, he leaned back into his chair and stated, "You're a danger to me."
The sabbie: Albus lifted a brow and looked at him questionably. "Why do you say that, Lucius?"
Morsmodere: Lucius raised his own eyebrow in response, "Am I not a Death Eater, and are you not the only wizard My Lord fears? What proof have I that you will not kill me if I make the wrong move?"
The sabbie: Albus frowned and let out a soft sigh, looking at his wine glass. His eyes stayed captivated by it as he toyed over an answer. "Lucius, you are a Death Eater. You've killed. But you're home to two boys that I dearly care about. They will be literally, destroyed, if I harm you." He paused and added, "And I don't want to harm you."
Morsmodere: Lucius looked incredulous, then shrugged, as if it didn't matter. "And what would happen if I went out tonight with my mask on, and destroyed another family?"
The sabbie: "I would not doing anything, Lucius, because Draco and Harry needed you," Albus said calmly, taking another sip of his wine, "And I won't take you away from them -- no matter what."
Morsmodere: Lucius nodded and finally took a sip of his tea, having nothing more to say, really, on the matter - other than that if he even attempted to harm Harry, Albus as well as Draco would murder him for it.
The sabbie: Albus sipped at his wine again, watching Lucius intently. His eyes glowering over the blond's form before whispering quietly, "I had hoped that I would be more entertaining for you, Lucius."
Morsmodere: "Anthing better than filling my lungs with tobacco smoke... and whatever it is they put in those bloody cigs..."
The sabbie: Albus chuckled softly and nodded, "You do need to quit those.. Will wipe out your money and your lungs in a heartbeat."
Morsmodere: "My fortune is relatively safe now that Narcissa's gone," Lucius remarked sourly, the thought of his ex-wife seeming to bring a bad taste when her name was said aloud.
The sabbie: Albus nodded, solemnly, "I've heard about what happened.. I'm sorry to hear that -- you've seemed to be depressed after this whole turn of events," He paused to continue, "But you seem to speak of it as a good thing."
Morsmodere: "It doesn't matter," Lucius seemed quite keen to change the subject, "she's gone, she's happy, and there's nothing else for me to bother about."
The sabbie: Albus nodded, twirling his glass of half-empty wine a bit, "So, have you thought of anyone else to give the Malfoy name to?"
Morsmodere: Lucius made a face of displeasure, "Only the baby, when it arrives. I'm solitary by nature anyway."
The sabbie: Albus instantly felt wrong for touching the subject. "Well, have you decided what to name the child? It's due early next year, is it not?"
Morsmodere: "Depends if it is male or female. And the name doesn't matter, as long as Narcissa doesn't fight it." Lucius glowered.
The sabbie: Albus nodded, watching Lucius for a moment, "Whoo will take the child, her or you?"
Morsmodere: "Me," Lucius stated flatly.
The sabbie: Albus nodded, nibbling on a packet of crackers he found by the sugar, "Good, good.. I do hope he will grace Hogwarts when he comes of age?"
Morsmodere: Lucius took another drink of tea before saying, "We shall see, won't we?"
The sabbie: "Of coarse we will, Lucius, over time things to lead to events that cannot be stopped." Albus explained before finishing his wine. "I must being going however, I do hope you'll get back to the manor soon? Can't leave those two alone for too long or else there's trouble right around them."
Morsmodere: Lucius nodded, getting to his feet, "I shall," he said.
The sabbie: Albus nodded, standing before him. Deciding to leave it at that, Albus patted the blond's shoulder softly, leaving sveral coins on the table to pay. "Good eve," His voice graced across Lucius's before he walked towards the door.
Morsmodere:"Was a pleasure, Albus," Lucius murmured, his eyes straying to the coins on the table. Bad luck, to leave money on the table, his whimsical side mused before following the same path Albus had.
