New Pope

is Benedict XVI from Germany.

"Viva il Papa!"

I really wish I were in la piazza di San Pietro like right now.

Speaking of Pope, I was listening to Manley's last Glory with the Angel tour when news of the new Pope broke and I miss him so much more now because no one will ever sing a Glory like that, ever. That is a bit ironic.

Papa tedesco...I don't know.
And even a guy from Bavaria (where I live).
Let's see how he will do. But I am pretty sure he won't change anything big, but will follow the way John Paul II. went.

I hope he will follow John Paul II. That's so cool he's from where you live though! Are people happy over there?

Yeah, all the Munich radio stations tell about his life right now, that his way began over here and everything.
And Germany is pretty happy to be able to say "The new Pope is a German".
But he is already 78, so he's called an interim pope out here.
I guess only time will tell..but it's quite certain that he will follow John Paul II. and won't change anything big.

I wish I were there too... it was so exciting even just watching on TV. That is really weird that you were listening to Manley when you heard the news.
