British goodies...

The other day I went into our local Food City and while looking, unsuccessfully, for Grandmas Green Label Molasses when I came across the the Greek and Mediterranean Rack full of, you've guessed it, British Food! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Sadly they don't have that in the store. Too weird, I guess.

I am going to mail you a check for $20.00 for the Tea Bags. However, I would appreciate you not depositing it until I tell you later this month. This is the latest checking account we have opened in the last week or so! Right now there is only $1.00 in it! I will let you know when it is good to go.

Can't wait for the Marmite! I miss it so bad sometimes. Now is one of those times. Hot toast dripping with butter and marmite! Scrummy! LOL!

No problem on the check thing.

I really, really don't get the UK love of marmite. It is way too salty and bad tasting to boot. LOL!

Nothin' like "home" food! I do enjoy Typhoo tea and have a hard time finding it here though it is available in the right shops. Not as popular as PG Tips though...

Sometimes they have that at Foods of All Nations in Charlottesville, VA and at Brits in Lawrence, KS.
