Nicki, a good friend and member of my little playgroup, found out this morning that her husband was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.  Her son Connor is 20 months old.  She is one of the strongest, most giving, caring person I've ever met, and I cannot stop crying at the thought of what she is going through.  What gets me more is that Brian

O...so sad, she is in my prayers...we should think of things for Connor to have so that he will know of his dad later on, like letter from his war buddies aboutthe kind of guy he was, any video clips of him put together on a DVD, quilt with pictures etc...

in happy news my brother just came back from Iraq scratch free yesterday.
