I teach 7th grade English and have used it. My students enjoy it and it keeps them in line for the most part. One quick negative point appearing on screen gets the whole class in line. I give rewards for positive points (25 points gets them a piece of candy, 50 a prize, etc) and they love that. Parents can see how their kids are doing, I can give admin a breakdown of behaviors in my classroom, it's just really useful. I also use it to pick kids randomly. I use the timer feature and attendance as well. I really love it.
I use it in 5th grade. My kids like creating their own monster avatar and seeing the points accumulate. I just tested it this year with one of my asses but plan to use it with all of my classes in the fall.
I'm glad you posted about this! I've played around with it, but I didn't get a chance to use it while student teaching. I hope it works for you! I'm going to look further into it!
I love it. Use it often with my preschoolers. We set a goal of say, 20 points by Friday and we earn an extra recess or something. Could do that for secondary students (though, not with recess, but maybe 5 bonus points, or free homework day or something....and adjust to maybe 40 points for the month or something) I like that I can tailor it the way I want it...raising hand to speak, being kind, cleaning up after yourself, etc.

Also, it's nice to see a post appearing in this community again, I miss sharing experiences with other teachers. <3
