One hurdle down, another hurdle up

I suppose it's the ying and yang of life. I got my state licensure exam scores back and, I PASSED. Needed a 450 for my master's licensure, 500 for doctoral level licensure and I scored a 565. I was really pleased. This means when I finish my PhD I wont have to take the licensure exam. REALLY good news ( Read more... )

Congrats on passing the EPPP!!! Not an easy hurdle. :) Also, thanks for adding me to your LJ. Your profile mentions a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. I'm confused, though. How did you sit for the EPPP before graduation? Is that a KY thing? In most states you need at least one year of supervised experience post-doc.

What's your specialty? At what stage of training are you? What is your dissertation topic? Sorry for the inquisition but there cannot be a lot of Bear-ish psychologists out there. It's nice to meet another. :)

I wanted to say congrats also! What a milestone. I just passed my LSW (I'm a clinical social worker) so I know what a great feeling it is!
