Back in action (just for today) from Santa Barbara. First let me say, it is BEAUTIFUL there. The mountains and the ocean all in one view. I loved it. Mystic River..hmm..okay movie. Sad/Strange ending, but not really sad. Hmm...up next: Law and Order SVU..then the last movie.

Still not feeling quite up to being out and about too much, I decided to make it a blockbuster night. I rented "The Forgotten", "Mystic River" and "Eternal something something of the spotless mind." You know, with my life being in such a state of flux right now (roommate, sickness, PhD starting, etc) one true friend meets me every morning with the same freshness, warmth and delight as the day before....I love you coffee..I love you.

So I saw my Ear/Nose/Throat Specialist today. It was not a good experience. He has an intern with him, so he let his intern examine me first, independently, then he came in and examined me independently then they conferred (training purposes I guess).
