So the first school week of the new year is officially in the books. The freshmen came in the afternoon last Wednesday for orientation. All grades came in last Thursday for the first official day of school. I think it's outrageous that some high schools start in August. Shouldn't happen. I know several schools that just started today or yesterday.

So I'm back from my mini vacation. Went to the Outer Banx in North Carolina for 4 days. It was a fun time. Lots of things were going on throughout the trip. Here's a summary of my trip.

It's already August...wtf?!  Summer is pretty much almost over.  That's both good and bad.  I need to get back into the classroom...get back into my routines.  Mostly, I need to wake up at a decent time and go to bed at a decent time.  On the other hand, there's still shit I gotta do in my room and that kinda stuff probably won't get done by the ( Read more... )

Well it's me.  Here's my first actual "post" on my new blog.  I haven't quite decided what I'll use this blog for in the future.  I kinda wanted a change...so I have a new LJ name and a new layout.  Made a ton of new LJ icons over the past month specifically for my new blog.
