Woke up to the news of Ursula Le Guin's death. I'm heartbroken; she's one of my favorite authors, and her books are magical to me. I could re-read her Earthsea trilogy over and over and never tire of it. The Left Hand of Darkness and The Dispossesed also left a big impression. She's one of my favorites too; I've got most of her books, and they've been a major influence on my life and writing ever since The Left Hand Of Darkness first came out. Sad she's gone; sad I never got around to writing to tell her how much I love her work.
