The Positive Power of Pets

I had a real moment involving the positive power of pets today. For those that don't know I recently got a tiny chihuahua/rat terrier mix named Java. She was so named because she was first presented to me while I was still sleeping. Lisa comes in, and makes a noise. I pop open a bloodshot horror eye, and fix her in a death beam. Dogs are very sensitive to the needs of their mommies and daddies. When I lived in Florida I had mad issues with asthma from something growing native to the area that was in bloom (could be some similar with the itch thing too because I had that issue when I lived in FL too, when I left, it went away so it had to be something native to the area). Anyway, massive asthma attack landed me in the ER on afternoon and sent home with a nebulizer for at home treatments. The nebulizer made a lot of noise and usually with small dogs the DO NOT like loud things. My l'il Nyx came right up to me, sat herself up leaning on my stomach and she wrapped her paw right around me in a hug and stayed until well after the treatment was done. Trix followed suit and squirmed right between the chair and me and with her head propped on my leg looking at me with a little furrowed brow of concern and big, soulful loving eyes. I felt better in no time just having these two l'il furballs beaming love at me. They cared more for my well-being than my ex did who ( ... )

Why would anyone leave you to go skank hunting. Being a nerd I won't say too much about Video Game widows but that wouldn't be ignoring you for some skank.

Java really is obnoxiously cute. It keeps her from being killed. I plan to get some pics of her uploaded soon.
