I'm not sure I can tell from the photo, what colors are in there? I see some yellow in the feet. Is the body redish? or more brown? I guess I'll just need to see it in person! Sweet.
I hear you on the second session. I had to go back for color too and it hurt more... due to the skin still being sensitive. So worth it tho. Very nice. I like the movement in it. Totally.
That is a beautiful bird, but I am so confused by all the mirrors: if you are facing north, would the hawk be flying west? It seems so painful, but so wonderful at the same time.
If I got a tattoo, it would be very small and probably a bird. But a small bird. Perhaps a hummingbird. A small hummingbird without a flower. A teeny, tiny hummer. In truth, I will not have a tattoo. I am a wimp....
Hahahah - you'd get a disappearing hummingbird :) One that just flew away and isn't visible anymore. That's a great tattoo idea :)
And yes, facing north, she's flying west - on my left back/scapula. There were definitely moments it was painful, and then places where I KNEW she was laying down ink, but I literally couldn't feel it - that was really weird. Then other places, I actually said "ouch" out loud - but overall, I handled it pretty well. Perhaps knowing it was chosen pain?

And if you got a tattoo, what would you get? That's always the question I have....

And picture of your tattoo? I don't think I've seen it.
