i'm not sure. it's possible that there are different brands/types/formulations of the receptor antagonists... and you know how individual each person's chemical sensitivities are...
i'll keep that in mind though. so much of the possible "helps" are new to me; and i know you've really been around the block (and probably felt dragged around the block, lol) with trying therapies.
if you have the energy sometime, i'd be interested in hearing what helps you most. i know water (pool, baths, etc.) does. so far i haven't found a pool warm enough. and i wish i had a bigger bath tub. i still want to see your bathroom sometime. i hear it's huge. :)
Well, if they're talking about a precursor to tryptophan, then it's the same thing. and yes, dragged around the block ::tears::
You know, Jacki once drove me to the CID (where the pool is) and one of the lifeguards got quite a crush on her. But anyway, that pool helps me more than everything (the water has to be above 90 degrees, muscle relaxants and pain meds help me, and SLEEP helps a lot.
And I finally got off Paxil (yay me!) and am on Cymbalta. But I still have no libido.
And Baru- thank you for the comments you left on my recent posts. It helps SO much to know someone is "listening" to me and can see where I'm coming from. Seriously. You are a very special person and I can see a billion reasons why Alissa chose you. =)
where is the pool? is CID center for independence of the disabled? yeah, over 90 sounds about right. my muscles hated the cold the one time i tried the pool at our apartment. and that pool is supposedly heated but probably only to 75 or something.
and that sounds like Jacki; she's a cutie. she told me that the other day she was at mcdonald's without the girls and some highschooler was hitting on her. she told me she was thinking "oh, do you want to be in my daughter's study group?" chloe's almost in high school.
yes, sleep helps me so much too. and i do take muscle relaxants and pain meds also.
good job getting off of paxil. it must have been really hard, especially since you were on it for so long! i'm on cymbalta too (off of effexor) and i haven't noticed a difference in pain, but i like how it works for my depression/anxiety better than effexor. yeah, not much libido on either med for me.
awww, thanks tami! i'm smiling on the inside (damn jaws!) and i'm glad to be able to give you feedback and support. :)

That didn't help much and made me sick.
