Yuletide letter

Dear Yuletide Anon,

I'm thrilled to be a fan in one of these small fandoms with you!

All prompts are completely optional and are only provided in the event that you would rather write from one. If you have a story in mind already, feel free to write it, regardless of whatever I've written below.

Hemlock Grove

How do the characters feel about monster movies? It could be before or after they learn of their own (or another's) supernatural leanings.

I bet Olivia saw a monster movie once... and hated it.

Awesome Flute Pieces (Anthropomorfic)

Prokofiev Flute Sonata in D
Hüe Fantaisie pour flûte et piano
Griffes Poem for Flute and Orchestra
Chaminade Concertino for Flute and Piano

Where to even start with this? I'm not the person who nominated this fandom, but I love the idea of flute pieces as people. The nominated four pieces (feel free to add in others as you like!) are awfully high on drama, so maybe something with heightened reality, like either a crazy adventure! Or a wild romance! Or even just weird everyday interaction that gets out of hand. I can't really think of anything specific - anywhere you want to take this would be amazing. A character study could be interesting.

Fire and Hemlock

Seb Leroy
Laurel Leroy

Now that Polly will no longer save him and Leslie doesn't have a... strong enough life, I guess, what's Seb's plan for dealing with Laurel? I'd love to see him outmaneuver her in some mundane human way. Nailing her in a legal loophole? Getting her avoid talking to him by relating every conversation back to the stock market? Laurel probably wouldn't drop him directly for being boring, but it might be a good way to make her overlook him while he explores his options. There's always the traditional route - fall in love with someone strong enough to save him, but I don't imagine Seb would trust that to work after Polly.

Geico "Witch in a Broom Factory" Commercial

Who is this witch and why have none of the employees thrown her out of the factory? Is she casting spells on them when they try? Is one of their coworkers currently a toad chilling in the bathroom? Or is the witch somehow related to their boss, and no one wants to risk their boss' displeasure by complaining?

Or maybe she's just there for the insurance commercial - I mean, those brooms don't look that aerodynamic, or individual enough that flying one would be more fun than another. She could be a starving actress falling back on her magic skills to help her get by.

Good luck and have fun,

Sally
