I immediately thought of a functional resume being better suited once I read your story. If you've had a lot of jobs in the same field, a functional resume will highlight your skill sets rather than your time being employed.

You don't have to list every single job you've ever had on your resume. In fact, it's better to only list things which are relevant to the position you are applying for.

Do you volunteer anywhere? Have you ever helped a sick or elderly family member? Those things can be listed on your resume as well to fill gaps.

Have you been fired from different jobs for the same reason? I don't need to know the reason, but that would probably be a good place to start.
