Stopping Traffic - OTA or Stand Alone
It started with a video.
Her fighting style was similar but free running and parkour added an element of style. And frankly, it just looked fun.
Bursting from her room, she ran down the hallway into a series of front flips until she reached the stairs. A side flip down to the first landing almost took out a grunt but he leaped out of the way before he got a foot to the face. She flashed him a smile then did another flip down to the next landing.
Once she was outside, she was really able to cut loose and reach her top speed. It was exhilarating and terrifying running full speed at stationary objects but she had to have confidence in her ability to leap over, flip around, or dodge before she hit it. It was actually more difficult trying to find props. She used a planter box like a vault. She nearly lost her balance when she leaped from railing to railing. She used a tree like uneven bars in gymnastics, skinning her hands, but the real fun came when she saw the three trucks.
An evil grin formed and she was off. The crazy, adrenaline filled Asian ran toward the vehicles like she was playing chicken. The first truck couldn't skid to a stop fast enough. It would have hit her if she didn't monkey leap up to the hood then over the top in a layout flip.
The truck behind, not knowing why the first truck suddenly stopped, hit the brakes too late and had a little fender bender. The driver about peed himself when just a moment after the collision, the Asian girl came flipping over the top of the truck ahead of him and landed on his hood. She was only there a second before she sprang off his truck on to the third just before the last truck hit the back end.
No real damage was done given they were reinforced military vehicles traveling at 20 mph so Betsy couldn't muster even slight guilt over causing the accident. She was too pumped about pulling off the complex stunt and eager to find the next big feat.
