How could she explain how lonely she felt without hurting his feelings or causing a fight? She wasn't trying to blame him though sometimes she wish she could. Sometimes she wished he weren't so wonderful so she didn't feel so terribly guilty about wanting something more passionate.
Rather than try and find the words, her hand came up to his chest and she scooted closer until they were maybe an inch apart. Close enough to feel the other's body heat but not really touching except with their hands.

"You sure you're okay?" This was the first time in a long time that Vance had the luxury of waking up roughly the same time as Angie -lately, he'd been assigned a few of the earlier morning mini-missions that required him up long before a decent time. Vance never liked waking his wife at that time, so a soft kiss to her forehead and one for Nori and he was out the door usually.
But this week, it seemed he'd been given some later assignments instead, "Need to talk?"
