EPILOGUES POST THREAD

Aug 10, 2011 00:01

Please comment here with your character epilogues (as mentioned previously on the OOC comm board by myself). I know many of us have begun to drift away from the community but I'd really appreciate if you could just take the time to post a little drabble piece telling us where your character went after the team was disbanded ( Read more... )

In the wake of realizing that her life as one of the X-Men was nothing but a lie, Haylie began to wonder if maybe it was her destiny to join them in the struggle for mutant rights in a world that hated and feared them. She extended the invitation to dear friends Spencer and Wade, but ultimately left the decision up to them, and asked Wade to visit from time-to-time.

Jubilee resumed her quest to find Wolverine, starting with the X-Men in New York and reluctantly following Haylie since they both seemed to be heading the same way.

Adrian took a lot away from his time with the Team. Although, as a final gift if you could call it that. Those files highlighting his time in his previous institution mysteriously vanished. He uses his powers only on occasion to make his life easier, or from time to time to remember what it was like to matter and stop a crime in progress. He's holding down a job as a counsellor for mutant teenagers in New York and finally got an apartment, rather than simply jumping from place to place. Honestly, he's happy. He'd be more than pleased to meet up with other members of the Team every now and again, but at least he no longer feels like he's hiding all the time.

Acier returned to Paris, at least her blacklisting didn't extend all the way to Europe. At the end of the day she wasn't in the team for long and all it taught her was that she really didn't like playing on the good side. She woke up one morning and jetted back with whatever few possessions she had and started working.

Now, she's the queen of the Parisian crime circle 'Les Enfants de la Mort', an elite mutant-only syndicate founded and brought to infamy by Elizabeth Acier herself, she finally started using her powers on an even level as her fighting skills, living in the lap of luxury in her unlisted appartment on the Premier Arrondissement, where she probably won't deign to claim to know any of the other members of the old team.

Mystique's future was simple. She left the team and once again took up control of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Years later she returned to Magneto and was part of his plan to secure homo-superiority.

Then, at the time that the Cure came out she was injured, trying to save Magneto and was forced to take up the name of Raven Darkholme again due to the loss of her powers. She lives a quiet life, waiting for the day that her powers return again. After all she'd been on the Earth for a long time already, it was something she was good at.

Saying goodbye was hard. Telling Vance on his birthday that she was marrying another man was even harder but Ethan proposed and while she would always love him, the event gave her the peek she needed to make up her mind. A life with Vance was good but they both deserved better. Besides, their daughter was only an illusion but it still felt like Angel lost her child. It made it hard just being around her ex because all she saw were her baby girls big hazel eyes ( ... )
