"I don't like history." "History's boring." "Who cares about history? It's like, already happened before."
And now you're seeing a movie about Louis XVI's wife, which will probably lead to a plotline with the French Revolution circa 1789-1793. But then again, it's probably not the movie that matters. Pity.
We watched a documentary on the French Rev. in French. I got real into it, I think their reign was interesting.
The movie was good until the ending. They ended with Marie & Louis leaving Versaille. Nothing about Marie &/or her son being tortured, nothing about the controversial newspaper articles, nothing about anybody's outcome.
I wish it would've at least given one of those on-screen text prologues or something. But it didn't.
When I can't sleep, I climb out of bed & I let the cool kiss my face & I let the house murmur its secrets in my ear & I let the pipes sing me to sleep & I wake up with the floorboards printed on the fishbellies of my arms & into my cheek & into my palms & my hips & knees & ribs & elbows ache from kissing the floor all through the night.
you can delete this if you don't want your poetry on LJ, but this is seriously the best poem i have ever read in my life. It REALLY touched me!

Other than that, it was fantastic.

Anything I post in my deviantART journal isn't poetry.
Unless I post it as a poem-deviation.
