Simply put, being unemployed really sucks. What I really mean to say is that having no money really sucks. I can't even get hired for jobs that I'm over-qualified for, even though I'm willing to do them. I'm at a loss, trying to figure out just what the hell is going on ( Read more... )

Yes, I should have my mom's jeep tomorrow, so I figure I'll head over there and apply. I kind of have an idea where it's at. Thanks.

I dunno if this helps at all, but you can try getting a job at my Target next week (I know it's farther away but you can always take the bus or maybe get rides from me). We are having a mass hire on Mon(10/10)/Wed(10/12)/Fri(10/14). You don't fill out the application till later, you just get inteviewed on the spot. It's worth a try at least?

Jay and I went to Best Buy tonight to pick up the Warrior's (Director's cut)DVD because they had it on sale for $12.99! Anyway, while we were there I saw a flyer that said they have a job fair every Thursday from 12pm-5pm. It's for the Chapel Hills store but you might want to check out the Powers' store just in case. It says to fill out the application at http://careers.bestbuy.com
and to see Rachel (this is for the Chapel Hills location) at the customer service desk the day of the job fair. Thought I'd let you know!

You should come over tomorrow(Sunday) night and watch the Warriors with us as well ;)
