Dr. Wilson's Day of Destruction

or

How Wilson Found Happiness

Author's Note:  This story sort of took on a life of its own, and is headed in a different direction than I originally envisioned.  Go figure.
Author's Note Two:  It has been a very long time since I've been as drunk as Wilson is throughout this story, but I'm doing the best I can.  And ( Read more... )

I love this! I could hear Wilson's voice clearly. I also liked your depiction of why Wilson had to go in to work and the way he was juggling all the various pieces of his department.

Yeah, I knew there was no way that Wilson would be willing to go to work drunk under normal circumstances, so I had to make it a reason that would be almost irrefutable to someone like him. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

That was wonderful! Your drunk!wilson sounds very convincing (although, man, nine shots of vodka? that's a lot!). And the explanation for the inappropriate drinking was very reasonable.

I also liked the way House unexplainedly finding Wilson drinking matches Wilson finding House in the show. Fantastic!

I'm so glad you like it!

(although, man, nine shots of vodka? that's a lot!)

Ha ha! Vodka was always my choice of drink, and when I asked my sister how many shots would be appropriate, nine was her and her husband's (very insistant) answer. Advice from family=fallingdowndrunk!Wilson.

Thanks for reading. :)

Their kid will have to live in a cardboard . . ." Tears welled up in my eyes at the thought. God, it was sad. The poor thing. She'd never be able to have friends over. I mean, where would she put them?

Bwah ha ha!

Poor Wilson. House had better pour Wilson into the backseat of his own car. And stop by the loft for a change of clothing.

It's hard to be Wilson-having to worry about everyone else every second of every day. Ahh, the Wilson torture-what fun days are made of.

Thank you so much for the read and review!

"see me to take Cuddy" - nice! Boy, he's going to be sorry in the morning. About the vodka, anyway. :) Looking forward to more....

ROFL! Oh, so believable! Just great! Great drunk!Wilson and I love the way House is humoring him. Just get him in the car and he'll most likely pass out before you leave the parking lot.

Thank you so much! I'm really getting a kick out of writing this; it's nice to have them drama-free for a while. :)
