The Hilson Files: Operation Redemption Chapter Four

Author's Note:  Shorter chapter, but the end took on a life of its own.  If you read, and you want to review, that would be awesome.
Author's Note Two:  I actually forgot to mention this when I first posted it to my journal, but a "Tahiti Drink" is an acutal drink - not me just using generic wording.

But Wilson knows that House's words are empty, so ( Read more... )

I enjoyed Wilson shifting back and forth between his I-don't-care attitude and his deeper feelings for House, while keeping up the banter.

"I don't want to not be friends with you"

Even the tortured grammar makes it clear how difficult this admission is for House. Great job!

And the final escalation until the kiss is totally believable, with the two of them pushing each other to the next step. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Thank you so much! I didn't go into that chapter planning to make them kiss, but they just couldn't help themselves, I suppose lol. Also, it might have been because I've been watching House with my mom (who's never seen it before) and I started with the beginning of season five, so right before I wrote this I had been watching them torture each other. I guess it sort of worked as therapy.

Thanks for reading. :)

Hey, thanks! Yeah, thanks to my parents, I've always been crazy interested in mystery books and stuff, so the fact that TPTB created House's role as a nod to Sherlock Holmes has always thrilled me to death.

Oh, House. It's a good question - what is Wilson supposed to do, especially after that kiss?

I've kinda always felt like House, though he clearly loves Wilson more than anyone, expects his friend to forgive some seriously crazy stuff. And almost running him over with his car is pretty intense. Ahh, Wilson. To forgive or not to forgive?

Thanks for reading lady!

*blinks* I somehow missed this!

The kiss, of course, was great, but the argument that led to it was awesome, too. I could practically hear them yelling at each other in my head.

Eagerly awaiting more!

I'm so glad you're still enjoying it! For whatever reason, their fights are some of my favorite moments. Like when House went to Wilson/Amber's apartment after she died, in Not Cancer, and:

House: How are you?
Wilson: Don't do this. Please. Please. Don't do this.

Hilson angst = Hilson love in my book!

Thanks for the review. :)
