And it's kind of fun to think that for Americans it's hard to write British English. Of course in my head the two languages are inextricably mixed so I can't be of help.

My plan is to continue with The Hilson Files, and somehow writing this Torchwood fic has been helping because I've already got the first draft of the next chapter almost done. I don't know how long it'll work, but hey. I'm not complaining.
And you know, as far as my inability to write "British" goes, I'm not exactly sure why I have such a hard time with it, though I know I do. And I'd hate to think that I'm acting disrespectful if I just ignore the cultural differences and pretend that I don't know that they speak differently in other countries. And plus, as you know, I take the whole writing thing pretty seriously, so I want it to be as close to accurate as possible.
