We're driving my daughter to college in New Hampshire tomorrow (from Texas), and getting her ready for that has sucked away all my time … and apparently my writing mojo. The story I was hoping to finish has fought me tooth and nail, and seems to have won this battle. I'm sorry

Thanks, hon! I'm not looking forward to the drive (1,700+ miles … gah!) but I'm excited to see her new digs. This is what we've raised her for, right? I'll just keep telling myself that. ;)

Aw, thanks, hon, I appreciate it. Especially the hugs. I have no idea how I'm gonna do, but her dad is already a mess, lol. She's very excited, though, which is good.

At some point, though, I plan to have a close encounter with some liquor. ;)
