Character name: Michael J. Caboose

Point in canon taken from: During Reconstruction, after being knocked out by the Meta
Appearance: Like his fellow team members, Caboose wears the standard Blue Army armor. During the Reconstruction series, he got an “upgrade” of his armor, a Mark V when it really should be Mark VI. (According to Caboose, in a Top Ten list, five is better than six.) He is rather tall, standing around 5’11.
Under his armor reveals a young, blonde man in his early twenties with blue eyes. He has a well toned chest for a guy who likes to sit around and eat sandwiches. It must have been all the orange juice he had! Caboose is also a quick runner, being able to escape near death from a tank that was about to explode. He is also much stronger than he looks, being able to carry a bomb that nobody else could lift. According to Sarge, he has “the strength of an ox.”
Personality: To put it basically, Caboose is possibly the stupidest young man a person can encounter. At first he seems just plain slow, but his mentally abnormal way of thinking (if he does really think) shines after getting to know him. Sometimes he takes things literally, believing that the word “timeline doesn’t make sense because it “isn’t made out of lines. It is made out of circles. That is why clocks are round!” or completely out of context, thinking that solar power is harmful if you’re a Republican.
Caboose was taught “how to be mean” by the evil Omega AI that jumped into his mind. Through that, he managed to massacre the entire Red and Blue army that was stationed at Battle Creek (it wasn’t much of a loss, since the men at Battle Creek respawn constantly) after thinking about things that made him angry, “like milk!”
Despite his low intelligence, Caboose is generally very friendly to others, if not just confused at them. He wants to be accepted as Church’s best friend, though that is unlikely to happen since he was the one who blew him up with the tank.
History: Caboose was born and raised in a colony on the moon with 17 sisters. He joined the army after mistaking a recruiting center for college. He was sent to the Blue Base at Blood Gulch, known as the team’s rookie at the time. He didn’t make a very good impression on his fellow teammates, Church and Tucker, especially after accidentally calling Church’s girlfriend a cow. Things turned bad when he accidentally killed Church while inside the team’s tank, Sheila.
Things turned worse when the Omega AI, aka O’Malley, possessed Caboose after Tex, the original host, died. This caused Caboose to speak ominously for a short time. Eventually, Church and Tex, as ghosts, entered Caboose’s mind to look for O’Malley. Inside his mind shows very incorrect mental images of the others, with Church being the one who always wants to be Caboose’s best friend (when it’s really the other way around), Tucker being the stupid one, Grif’s armor as yellow, Sarge with a pirate accent rather than a Southern accent etc. and most of all, he sees himself as a polite and intelligent young man. O’Malley manages to escape however, leaving Caboose’s mind and entering Doc’s. From then on, Caboose's mind probably deteriorated even further.
After briefly teaming up with the Red Team to hunt down O’Malley, the two teams were blown into the future, where according to Caboose, “everything is very shiny here.” Nothing changed when they found themselves in the future version of Blood Gulch.
After the series, everyone (with the exception of Sister) in the Blue Team was transferred elsewhere. Caboose also made a bad impression at his new post in Rat's Nest, accidentally hurting and killing his own teammates and claiming that he knew how to drive a tank. He was tied up and tossed in the brig to keep him from harming others. When Agent Washington arrived to take Caboose away, the Blue Team’s leader was more than glad to.
After reuniting with Church, the three men set off to hunt down the Meta AI. Caboose held onto to Delta, one of the AI’s the Meta was after. He was later knocked out by the Meta and Delta was taken away.
Yeah, uh... Shelly's supposed to be a slug but they didn't have a blue slug so I settled for a blue snail. xD Obviously don't take that or the AWESOME FACE seriously.
