Seems to have been swept under the rug. Obviously traumatised and upset woman gunned down with toddler in back. Not a good day for security forces.

Yeah. Once they realised she wasn't a terrorist or an anti-Congress person... You know, from reports that aren't being very widely distributed, she seems to have been a mother struggling with postpartum depression and possibly postpartum psychosis. It's sad and scary to think that her young daughter was with her the whole time.

That was so horrible. They shouldn't have shot at her-certainly not to kill. There are so many other things they could have done that would've stopped her if she'd actually been hostile but (at least probably) wouldn't have left her dead.

I realize that there's a need to be cautious, especially since the Republicans have shut your country's government down as part of their most recent temper tantrum, but this woman did not have to die, and it's horrible that she did. And it's even worse, I think, to know that the person/people who killed her probably won't have to face much punishment (if any) for doing so.
