I'm writing this comment now but I can't seem to write it out coherently. This needs a rereading. This definitely does.
I love the part about hate. There's only so much hate that a person can give... I've always thought it was more fear than hate.
Gokudera is tired of being unworthy.
The mafia makes Gokudera unworthy. He's smart in school, and popular. It's odd that the mafia ruins Gokudera's life and still he continues to hold on to it. It's like family; it's blood and when the cancer gets in to your bloodstream it'll never go away.
