i know, it really is true and ridiculous. last sept visiting wash dc saw these groups of moderately young, healthy and able bodied looking people riding around on these ridiculous things... the standing up ones though. way slower than they would have been walking. and it could be possible that some of them really did have health probs, but they looked like tour groups just choosing to ride around like that. it was the most ridiculous thing ive ever seen. not just in how it looks, but in... in... (sputters) god gave you legs, its good to walk!

and the helmets on their heads while moving slower than i walk was also a bit cute.
