Just to let you all know, I'm fine and have been nowhere near London today. Family are all well (though two of them were about to set off to London when they heard the news), as are friends as far as I know...
I'd like to see you enforce that one, matey. Besides, I'm due up there on the 21st... I would have been there on Saturday, if it wasn't for this sodding wedding I have to go to... I was brought up in a garrison town, while the IRA were active. I have a degree of inbuilt lack-of-surprise at this sort of thing, and despite the horribleness of what's happened today, will not be letting it affect my travel plans. And I know you didn't really think I'd listen to you, anyway... ;)
*If* London appears to be once again safe *and* you are lucky, I'll lift the ban. Of course you'll listen to me. Why wouldn't you or anyone in the world listen to me???? Oh, wait, been re-reading too much on narcissists. Wrong thread.
A miracle, or an indication that Al-Qaeda (if it WAS them, which is nowhere near definite yet) are not as organised and highly trained as our governments want us to think... Which is reassuring from one point of view, less so from the other.
*hugs back* Y'know, I am all touched by people being worried about me, it's lovely of you ... and I am fine, just irritated by the incessant and repetetive news coverage (they'd better not have delayed Big Brother for this...)
