Where's a heart when you need one?

A ray of sunlight penatrates the window reminding me that morning never sleeps.
I squint my eyelids, try to fight the glow, but it never works.

Things cant be as they seem, Im so far from home.
This must be another dream.
But my eyes are open.
And everything still moves in slow-motion.

This last week and a half has been the hardest since I can remember.
Most of all, the most frightening. Ive never been so shaken up.
I almost lost all that is important to me.
You.

I'm so glad the dark clouds
are out of our way now.

I love you so much.

I know one day, all our scars will disappear, like the stars at dawn.
And all of our pain, will fade away when morning comes.
And on that day when we look backwards we will see, that everythings changed.
And all of our trials will be as milestones on the way.
