So someone left a note in my Honesty Box this morning - keep in mind, on my front page I have an application called Obama Countdown, Get over it, I got over it. :)
So this person writes to me:

At least when people started putting countdowns for Bush, he actually deserved it. The federal debt had been doubled, the country was in a war based upon false

Nice job on your response! I don't agree, but congrats on taking a stand! haha did you hear about Obama raising taxes on the rich? Or, well at least reestablishing the taxes that Bush had cut when he first came into office? I'm pretty excited about that. It makes sense to me. I hate debt.

I hate debt too, but it's gonna hit us all soon, I mean, our economy's basically a broken wheel...

No, he only reassured that those making under a certain amount would not have their taxes raised, and possibly even lowered. His budget recommendation is for a tax increase on those who make more than 250,000 dollars a year. I'm totally cool with that. I'm sorry you don't have my number. Ahh, you're right, that makes more sense. Still, that's going to hit those families hard. I'm glad my family's not at that level, and that I'm not either.
