You are really young. I didn't get married until I was 28 and I'm glad because I had a lot of time to, not only have fun, but make my mistakes and learn from them. It is awesome to be single and while I wouldn't want to go back now, I see that I got to do things that other friends of mine who were married younger didn't get to do. You have the freedom to travel and see the world (going to Russia would be awesome!) and like you said, you don't have to answer to anyone.
I think it is very mature of you to acknowledge your mistakes in the relationship as well. True, Brandon could have gone about this whole thing A LOT better (like being up front instead of running off to the Whore) but, that just shows where he is.
